Description

The Turtan H.I.B.S is one of many battlesuit designs used by Imperial forces,it was aimed at providing support to infantry without having to deploy powerful but slow moving tanks and larger machines while remaining all-terrain.

Armed with and AP-Heavy rifle and coated in reinforced Imperial Durasteel the Turtan H.I.B.S charges into the front lines providing the firepower needed for the legionnaires to push through enemy lines where the terrain is too rough for other machines.

The H.I.B.S first came into service during the Sigma Wars and ever since then remained in use by the Imperium.It has undergone several improvements since their arrival into the Milky way most notable is the battlesuit itself being sealed and pressurized to allow for use in hostile environments and to an limited degree the empty void of space.

Several designs exist aimed sorely at allowing the ease of use by various physiologies including Varanus {with added armour for the tail section},humanoid and future citizens of the Imperium.

The suit is also painted in camouflage patterns suitable to the combat environment they are expected to be deployed upon
