Although it’s not unheard of for Seraphim to build bases on the surface of planets.Sentience: SentientStrengthsSeraphim excel in cobbling together stolen technology and making it their own. They can take virtually any tech and find some use for it. They are fighters toughened by the harshness of space and very long lived. Making them experts at survival and combat with the unsavory forces that inhabit the galaxy. Each is trained to be a survivor and taught all the necessary skills to be a rugged warrior in the cold of space.WeaknessesAlthough the Seraphim are found everywhere in the galaxy. They usually only live in relatively small nomadic fleets, or clans as they call them. The fleets can consist of anywhere between a few thousand members to a few million. Both relatively small numbers on the grand scale of things. Their fanatic reverence of their mothership means many would rather die than reveal it's location. AppearanceSeraphim are always wearing a pressure suit, so most facial features are covered up.Physically, the Seraphim stand between 6-7 feet tall, and each is born with 4 arms. They are surprisingly deft and strong despite their thin stature.CultureThe Seraphim worship technology a gift from god, and AIs as the voice of god. Since they rely so heavily on technology and since it’s often hard to find spare parts in dead space, the Seraphim worship their starships and technology with such a reverence in hopes that their god will allow the generators running for one more cycle.HistoryPretty much nothing is known about the history of the Seraphim. As far as anyone can tell, the race simply popped up one day and started foraging the galaxy for whatever resources they could get their hands on. Though there are many rumors. The most popular rumor states this: The Seraphim once ruled a galaxy wide empire somewhere outside the Milky Way. Then, somehow, they were driven from their seat of ruling power and exiled from their galaxy. The race spent centuries traversing the void in between galaxies. Eventually, the race splintered into many sub clans who began feuding with each other over whatever technology could be taken from each other until they reached the Milky Way galaxy and started pirating the other races for their tech, quickly adapting it to fit their own.
