Notable Equipment
All the ships systems that require energy, including the weapons, shields and engines run on Infernium, an incredibly powerful but unreliable fuel source and dark magic. The ship has 3 large boosters, a tough prow made of titanium for ramming other ships and 6 'Infernium' cannons on the top with a 360 degree turning circle.
Description
These fighters were used by the Demons during their invasion of Necronis. Millions of these vessels filled the sky in the early years of the war. They were then used less and less as the fighting moved to the planets maze of trenches. After the war was over and all the humans of Necronis had been reduced to the Nekrax that live there today, most of the demons left the planet, leaving behind the weapons of war they had used to conquer, including all the remaining fighters. Now, as the Free Nekrex look to the start, they have started scavenging these ships after hundreds of years of neglect. Despite how many were used during the war, only a few hundred remain functional.
The ship is designed to be crewed by 3 demons but 1 competent person with reasonable multitasking skills can handle then just fine. The Leviathan-Phantom Class fighter is incredibly fast and agile yet has very little shielding to speak of and therefore is weak to laser fire. Also, because of their age and the instability of Infernium, they are very difficult to maintain and are unreliable.
