Space began to twist and warp. A loud snap and thousands of Nypherian ships had appeared. The large invasion armada had appeared within the Sagittarius arm. Within the center of the armada stood the fouro fthe  new ships that had been added to the fleet. The MC 401S Elite Assault Cruiser's were stationed within the middle of the armada. They stood out because of their size, 2,500 meters long. The newest military weapon that had been specifically for the invasion against the Darkness. Upon the ship, the leading Officer stood in one of the MC 401S Elite Assault Cruiser. "Status report" she yelled after exiting warp. "Ma'am, many glitches and errors have been recorded and noted within engine departments. The other three ships are also reporting the same problem. We can't use the Frame Shift Drive". The report only made her more frustrated. The Leading officer, Captain Aersilix, began to pace back and forward. She knew the ships wouldn't be ready but the invasion had been delayed long enough. She let out a sigh,"Begin repairs on the engines and Frame Shift Drives. Place all ships within defensive parameters. We could get unexpected guests. Though, do not shoot on sight. We don't need to upset the locals"



      Within the outskirts of the fleet, Theta, the Master Sergentof the Cybernetics division. Walked over to Zanya, the leading Warrant Officer. "Ma'am, reports are a bit embarrassing as there are engine glitches within the new assault cruiser. With the rush of the production of the ship, we have to sit and wait for repairs. We have orders from the captain. We are to hold positions and watch for possible contact with the locals. We also have orders not to shoot on contact" Theta said towards Zanya.

Much to Zanya's dismay, the oh-so incredible MC 401S Elite Assault Cruisers were broken. That's basically what Theta told her.

"Who could possibly overlook such a big glitch," Zanya questioned aloud, "What's going to happen next, The railgun barrels were installed backwards?"

Now everyone in the nypherian army and fleet had to sit aside and wait for repairs outside of Nypherian space. The Warrant Officer sighed aloud. Perhaps it was time for shore leave.

"Hey Theta," Zanya said, "Let's go down to one of the local planets for some R and R, maybe we'll meet someone interesting down there." She didn't bother to wait for Theta's response as she walked towards one of the hundreds of dropships docked in the Assault Cruiser's hangars and subsequently inputting the command to travel down to the surface, also making sure that other warrant officers were allowed to go planet side if they desired.
