"You can help us understand." Diana retorted, putting a hand on her hip as her blue eyes scrutinized the demon. "You don't have to be such a hardass. You almost remind me of my sister, except greener." She sounded a mixture of confused and exasperated. Diana didn't understand why he was being so uncooperative.

"Understand?" What, it's not like you signed a certain contract with your blood now, is it?" Gavin asked sarcastically, having discretely referenced the way he became the Ghost Rider.

He turned to The Artificer. "Isn't there something you can do to get to him cooperate? Offer him something?" He then looked at Jaya and Diana. "Anyone?"

"So you're the sister of Kittiana," Eli almost chuckled. "She'll love the truth." It had almost become funny to Eli, until the Artificer approached him and held a hand over his face. All of a sudden Eli seized up, and the Artificer examined him closely.
"I see," He spoke as he shifted through the memories and thoughts of Eli. "How interesting." His hand then pulled away as he looked back to the others. "He thinks he is related to the Starforger, although whether that is a subplanted memory is down to question." A scratch of his chin allowed him to think further. "This Starforger is much deadlier than anticipated, his powers dont only stretch over Space itself, but Time. However, we won't have trouble gaining this man's help with the gateway, will we?" He turned to ask Eli, at which the demon responded with a shake of his head.

"No..." He murmured, obviously under some spell now.

"Woah, how'd you do that? The force?" Diana glanced at the Artificer then back at Eli.

"Some sort of spell. And judging by the results, it was a strong one.." Gavin said as he looked at The Artificer, having sensed it.
"We better move to that gate now."
