What are Imperial Duchies?----------------------------------------------------------------Despite the centralized power of the Imperium,it follows a policy similar to the Holy Roman Empire of Earth in which it allows dukes/duchesses to hold direct power over their domains,this allows them to rule their planets as they see fit,institute their own laws {as long as it does not conflict with the laws of the empire},own monopolies on their planetary resources,form their own military,own a seat on the Imperial Court,make a vote on the Imperial Court and can ascend a person to the title of Emperor/Empress.Only the Emperor/Empress,Grand Imperator and the Grand Admiral have the right to enforce demands and take control of duchies if required in times of civil unrest or war.-------------------------------------------------------------------Should you wish to make a duchy please submit the following template:
